Very interesting example of a M35 double decal SS helmet ,three different paint finishes visible apple green ,pea green and remnants of a winter camouflage white paint ,the shell skirt is stamped NS.66 ,nice metallic pulver runic shield ,party shield with off center swastika ,this is due to the silk screen printing process ether the operator has placed the decal sheet slightly out of register or stretch has acured in the silk ,see kelly Hicks book SS steel page 84 ,interesting visible under the party shield gilt remnants so this M35 probably started life as a Kriegsmarine issue , the original alloy M31 banded liner system is not the original to the helmet approx size 57, complete with early alloy buckled chinstrap M707
